About Us

Island living isn’t just our lifestyle — it’s in our DNA. Our story begins in Venezuela, where I was born to a German father and Venezuelan mother. Though I grew up in Caracas, my heart belonged to Margarita Island, where I spent every holiday and weekend by the sea. After earning a degree in Business Administration for Tourism and Hotel Management, I made Margarita my home.

In 2005, a scholarship led me to Mallorca for an MBA in Marketing for Service Enterprises — and what began as a brief chapter turned into nearly 20 years of life, love, and real estate development. Alongside my husband, we built over 100 homes and created boutique hospitality and residential projects that reflect the beauty and freedom of island life.

Our journey continued from Margarita to Mallorca, to Punta Cana, then back to Mallorca — and finally, to Grand Bahama: our forever home.

We first discovered Grand Bahama in 2020 during the global pause brought by COVID-19. After a virtual exploration on Google Earth, my husband visited — and was instantly captivated. A year later, we visited with our two youngest children, and within days, we knew this was where we were meant to be. By 2022, we made the move.

Grand Bahama gave us everything we envisioned — open space, genuine community, barefoot freedom, and the kind of outdoor, screen-free childhood we always dreamed of for our kids.

My Life in Grand Bahama was created to share the beauty of everyday island living and to serve as a bridge to our professional ventures. Through CPH Investment Group, we develop boutique hospitality, real estate, and marina projects that seamlessly blend lifestyle and investment opportunities. And through CARE – Christoph Albeck Real Estate, we help others make Grand Bahama their home, providing expert guidance on residency-by-investment and relocation.

We’re a trilingual family — speaking Spanish, English, and German interchangeably — and we bring that same multicultural understanding to everything we do.
